Psilocybin-assisted therapy combines carefully structured therapeutic support with a supervised psilocybin experience. It is not a standalone treatment and is not appropriate for everyone. This is a multi-session offering, beginning with a thorough screening and preparation process before any administration session is considered.
Quoted as a full course during the consultation. A limited number of sliding-scale places are available.
First
A thorough intake covering medical and psychiatric history, current medications, and what you are hoping to address. Not everyone is a candidate for this work, and it matters more that you get an honest answer than a yes.
Then
Several sessions before any administration is considered. This is where trust gets built, where you say out loud what you are bringing, and where you learn in specific terms what to expect. Nobody walks in cold.
The day
A full day in a quiet, prepared setting with continuous supervised support. The session is paced to you, not to a schedule, and you will not be left alone with it.
After
The stage that decides whether any of it holds. Meaning gets made in the weeks afterward, in ordinary sessions, at an ordinary pace. This is the part that turns an experience into a change.
Certain medical conditions, medications, and psychiatric histories make this work unsafe or unwise. The intake exists to surface those before anything is scheduled, and Dr. Tippett will tell you plainly if the answer is no — including when a different treatment is the better path.
Psilocybin-assisted therapy is not a quick fix. It asks for preparation, a full day, and weeks of follow-up work. People who do well with it tend to be the ones who wanted the work, not only the experience.
Services are provided in compliance with Colorado's Natural Medicine Health Act and DORA regulations. Dr. Tippett is currently licensed as a facilitator-in-training under Colorado's Natural Medicine program and provides these services under appropriate supervision.
Psilocybin remains a Schedule I substance under federal law. Administration sessions take place in person, at a location agreed in advance. Screening, preparation, and integration work are done virtually.
